Best business apps and websites for marketing

If you are looking to expand your business, you will need to start by adding new customers.

How, though, can you do that? With all the different marketing techniques out there, it is hard to tell what are the best ones to use. You don’t want to waste your money on something that isn’t going to work. The best way to really decide is to let someone else do all the heavy lifting.

Try out some apps

Starting to find apps to use can be hard. Lucky for you, there are 33 apps and tools recommended by the Chicago Tribune that you could try. Here are the six categories they split the apps into:

  1. Client relationship apps
  2. Brainstorming apps:
  3. Website Optimization Apps:
  4. Search Engine Optimization Apps:
  5. Audio, Video, Text & Design Apps
  6. Social Media Management Apps

Between them, you should be able to get the best apps for your business. I’d like to touch on some of the apps and tools I thought were most useful for marketing:

  • Browserbite – This website allows you to text your website in a ton of different browsers at one time. If your website doesn’t look good all the time, you may need to make a few changes
  • Plagspotter – This is a great site to use to check and make sure your content hasn’t been duplicated. Make sure nobody is copying your original content and that your content isn’t being copied either.
  • Buffer – With this site, you can schedule your posts to be sent out with social media, meaning you can take a load off all week and let the site do all the work for you. The site will even pick the times to post if you want it to.
  • Nutshell Mail – This website, if you sign up, will give you an email every day with the daily summary of all your social activity. If you aren’t too big or don’t have enough money to pay someone else to manage your accounts, it could save a lot of time just using this one app.

Finally – the best marketing routine

The best thing to do is to get started with pay per call. If you can get your company promoted by others and only pay when you get quality leads, then you can expect huge increases in your customer base. If you are looking for new customers, this is probably the best site/app you can look at getting.
