Less job security – you should start a blog

As mortgage rates increase, fewer people are able to afford homes and fewer loans are made. When fewer loans are made, banks lay people off.

For example, Bank of America is getting rid of many employees due to the lack of business, according to Bloomberg. When people get laid off, there are fewer jobs and even fewer people who can afford homes at an increased rate. The economy may be looking better, but who knows when another big recession will hit us. While on the brink of war, the fear of another recession is very serious. So, what can you do to prepare if you are feeling insecure about your job? Start a blog.

If you can start a blog and get a good following, then you can start doing affiliate advertising. If anyone clicks on an ad on your page, you will get paid a very tiny amount. The best affiliate advertising out there is pay-per-call, though, instead of pay-per-click. Rather than getting paid a penny, or sometimes even less than that, every time someone clicks the ad, you could get paid $10 or more every time someone calls in from the ad. It is a perfect  way to get extra cash, especially if you want to work from home or make extra cash on the side.

Get your blog ready

If you want a chance to do affiliate advertising, you will have to start your blog or website. Here are some steps to follow:

  1. First of all, you will need to come up with something to write about. A general blog with general information will not be as successful as, say, a blog all about beet farming. The niche markets where you focus in on something really specific will give you a smaller audience, but more specific search terms for your audience to look for.
  2. Write as often as you can. If you are writing about exercises you can do from home, you will want to get as much content on the site as possible. People will only check your site and continue to scroll down if there are many posts. One or two will not be enough. Plus, regular content keeps you in the search engines.
  3. Sign up for your affiliate advertising and pay-per-call affiliates. Get them put on the site. You can write specific articles about the product you are advertising or just put it on the page and hope someone calls.
  4. Wait. Keep doing all the work to keep up your website, and the checks will start adding up. Work to get as many viewers as you can. The more people who see your site, the more calls will go in, and the more money you will make.

You should be making fast cash in no time if you follow these steps.
