Marketing: Checking on Groupon’s success

As a small business, you could have the best product in the world, and nobody would buy it without marketing.

That is why having the right kind of marketing for your business is so essential. Even Groupon recognizes how important it is, and they are already pretty big.

New Groupon marketing platform/campaign

According to TechCrunch, Groupon has created a new platform to manage all of its affiliate marketing, called Groupon Partner Network. Even though Groupon makes plenty of money already, it knows there is always room to expand. This new network will manage affiliate marketing all over the world in an attempt to expand the business worldwide. This is a huge step for the company that will bring in a lot of business.

The real question is, how did Groupon get there? They didn’t just put up their site and hope people would find it. They did marketing. Little things here and there brought in huge crowds of people! But they are still marketing for even more customers. If Groupon, a huge company with a lot of success, is still spending its efforts expanding and marketing, why shouldn’t you? But maybe there is a more cost-effective approach.

Less money for real people

With pay per call marketing, you will basically pay a small fee for leads, and you will get a ton of fees. How, you ask? Well, bloggers all over the internet are always looking for affiliates to post on their page. Those bloggers will get paid anytime someone calls the number on the ad. If the person who calls hangs up too quickly or is unwilling to give information, it is considered a fake lead, and you don’t have to pay for it. It is the next big thing! Basically, you are paying for real customers! Now, doesn’t that seem worth it?

Why do this instead of pay per click, you ask? How many people will just spend hours clicking an ad to get money. Yeah, maybe it is only a few cents, but eventually that adds up! And how many of those people that click the ad actually end up buying stuff? Almost none. This is why pay per call is so much better.

Try it out, and you’ll be surprised at how many loyal customers you start to form.
