Mobile marketing case study database now accessible to the public

Marketing managers need no longer comb bookstore shelves or endless web pages looking for the most up-to-date information about mobile marketing.

As one of his first actions as Chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association Global Board of Directors, Dunkin Brands’ President John Costello has announced the launch of “the first-ever comprehensive database of mobile marketing case studies.”

The Hub

The database, known as the MMA Case Study Hub (or the Hub), is fully searchable and currently has more than 450 case studies performed locally and internationally available for review. Discerning marketers will be able to use the information to tailor their marketing goals and strategies more clearly and easily. Instead of reinventing the wheel, they can base their plans on the successes and failures of previous marketers.

Harnessing mobile power

Greg Stuart, CEO of the MMA, said, “To harness mobile’s power of getting brands the closest they can get to their consumers, it is critical to provide marketers with the proper tools. With this goal in mind, we worked extremely hard at creating a unique and monumental resource, with both depth and quality, for marketers looking to activate the innovation of marketing through mobile.”

Search by category

One option available will be the capability of searching the database by category, including campaign objective, mobile vehicle, industry and geography. Mobile marketing campaigns will be dissected so visitors can analyze strategy, results, and execution methods.

Accelerate success

“With many brands feeling the pressure of mobile marketing adoption, this resource allows marketers to accelerate their own success by better understanding how their peers are using mobile and what’s working and what isn’t,” Stuart explained.

Costello’s decision to pursue this avenue of creative was spurred by his conviction that more and more customers are turning to mobile devices to make purchases and search for information. He said, “As mobile becomes the primary screen for many consumers, I am excited to work with the MMA team to further lead the growth of mobile marketing.”

The Hub has a certain number of case studies free to view, but membership allows full access to their 450 case studies and white papers.
