Better ways to advertise with social media

Everyone chooses to market to customers in different ways, and that is probably a good thing.

Not everyone will respond to the same kind of advertising, so you need to make sure your business is doing a bunch of different things. One thing more businesses need to take advantage of is social media. It is free, and it is very easy to work with once you get the hang of it. Why not focus on more free advertising? Especially somewhere all of your possible clients will see it.

Get started

If you are considering working on more social media advertising, there are seven things you should consider, according to Forbes:

  1. Perception – Customers want to perceive your products as something amazing and wonderful. Stop trying to build your company and start working to build a brand people can trust.
  2. Predominance – Avoid anything that could negatively affect the brand for your target audience, but work hard to reach everyone in your audience.
  3. Progression – You have to keep moving forward or you will just start falling backwards.
  4. Proof – You need to prove to your customers that you aren’t stupid and that you care about them. Prove it with what you post.
  5. Prevalence – You have to have a lot going on. Something here or there every week or two is not enough. It has to be constant and regular.
  6. Prominence – Pick an audience and stick with it! Don’t try to appeal to everyone. Pick a niche, and your advertising will be much more successful.
  7. Power – You will be powerful if you use social media in the correct ways and use all the social media outlets out there.

What else is there?

Unfortunately, these steps don’t quite help you figure out how to get started with social media or what to do with it. The best way to get started would be with pay per call marketing. Having a social media page won’t mean anything unless you have people following it, and you will need customers to get there. If you have a truly valuable product, your customers will spread the word through their blogs and social media, and your following will increase a lot. Paying per quality lead is much better than just posting every day to a blog that nobody reads. Try pay per call right now, and you only pay when you get real customers.
